Yuri can be quite disturbing sometimes, I agree. But, if a statement must be made, it must be made.
I am a pretty big fan of Mary Read, although I've only read a couple of stories about her. I'm going to start reading the story of Anne Bonny as well, to get a better picture of her. I'm reading these stories from a book called Pirates.
So even will be writing the story. I'm looking forward to it's story. I feel it will be marvelous.

As for Mary Read and Anne Bonny, well, they're sort of famous...ish...though that other lady, whose name escapes me at the moment, tends to be slightly more famous. Still, there are only a few female pirates, so they're well-known.
I hope you and even do a good job with your first deviation, it will make your reputation, or stop it from ever developing.

thank you for your support. we are protesting the biased mods who allow yuri and naked women submissions, sometimes elevating them to daily deviations, while deleting shounen-ai and yaoi, even when it is clean, calling it "inappropriate." we are protesting this double-standard by utilizing it to the utmost extent possible. watch us, and look for our first story and picture -- mary read and anne bonny, the famous pirate duo.
